The Bob & Pat Crosby Scholarship for the Advancement of the Sciences is intended to assist Dufur High School students that are committed to continuing their education in the field of science including health, agricultural, biology, chemistry, environmental and others deemed appropriate. Mr. Crosby had a passion for science and the role it plays in improving the human condition, and the mission of this scholarships is to assist Dufur students with their science goals & have a vision for the role science will play in our future.

This scholarship is for students interested in pursuing a degree in science or a science related field including Agriculture.

Each applicant must be a graduating senior from Dufur High School and planning to attend an accredited post-secondary program or trade school on a full-time basis. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) in high school of at least 3.25. Their transcript must also document that the student has taken a variety of advanced science and math courses. Successful applicants will receive a proportionate share of their scholarship only after successfully completing each term/semester of their program, continuing full-time enrollment, documenting that they are taking science courses, and maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Due Date
Application packets are due by the end of school on the third Monday in April of each year and should be submitted electronically.
Interviews will be scheduled during the second week of May and be held at Dufur School in the conference room.
